Eastenders: The Murders Of Lucas Johnson

EASTENDERS: Lucas Johnson

There are certain things that soaps do really badly. Dancing, for example.

Ever watched soap characters trying to strut their funky doofus or what-have-you? Take a closer look next time, it’s hilariously wooden.

But when it comes to murder, it has to be said our soaps are absolute masters of the art. And these past few months in Walford, of course, have seen yet another killer on the loose – namely, psycho preacher Lucas Johnson.

Here, in this hour-long special, we recall his deadly deeds – tying in with some dramatic developments in tonight’s regular episode (BBC1, 8pm). It’s also a chance to recall some of the show’s previous killings, with contributions from ex-cast members including Martin Kemp (Steve Owen) and Shaun Williamson (Barry Evans).
