HAS GORDON BROWN SOLD BRITAIN DOWN THE RIVER?
Do YOU think Gordon Brown has betrayed Britain?
By Macer Hall Political Editor
GORDON Brown was last night accused of betraying Britain with a “grubby” surrender to Brussels.
Under a cloak of secrecy, the Government finally ratified the Lisbon Treaty earlier this week and committed the country to a new deluge of European meddling.
In a sign of the Prime Minister’s personal embarrassment over the betrayal, the historic step was only made public yesterday – 24 hours after the covert ceremony had taken place.
The instrument of ratification was signed by the Queen, who had no choice. Because Mr Brown had signed the treaty, she was constitutionally forced to follow suit.
The document was then flown in a diplomatic bag to Rome and delivered to the Italian Foreign Ministry at noon on Wednesday.
Mr Brown was last night facing widespread revolt and even the threat of further legal action after forcing the treaty into law without the promised referendum.

HAS BROWN SOLD US DOWN THE RIVER

Very much yes, He has continued the work by Bliar.
He continually talks abour "Reform". He sould read the dictionary definition "Reform verb "1 to improve or remove faults from (a person, behaviour, etc). 2 to improve (a law, institution, etc) by making changes or corrections to it. 3 intrans (also reform oneself) to give up bad habits; to improve one's behaviour, etc. 4 to stop or abolish (misconduct, an abuse, etc).
We. have seen very little answering to that description

Instead of talking why can't we ring him/write to him and tell him for God's sake go and take the Lisbon Treaty and your backhanders and go.

MIDDLE BRTAIN
26.11.08, 11:54am
Middle Britain has been treated like a cash cow for years now derided by the politicians while being systematically milked dry. Politicians are scared to really tax the super rich but cant resist criticizing hard working families. But what can we expect when pop stars, footballers etc are held in such high esteem and we have doctors nurses etc who have the gift of saving life being continually sniped at. Its probably time for middle England to start packing because this team has brought the country to its knees they could nt be trusted to run a corner shop

Since Brown became our unelected prime mInister he has consistantly sold England down the river, no doubt about it.
The 'debate' on ratifying the Treaty was a travesty.
Hisi handling of the war in afghanistan is a travesty - he couldn't write a cheque for decent AFVs for our lads, but he could find £9 billion for London's Olympics.
He has mismanaged our economy on a scale that is breathtaking. Our grandchildren will be suffering an economic nightmare thanks to him and the rest of his communistic associates.
The guy is a failure, propped up by failures.
Trouble is, whoever gets elected next (and it won't be him, hopefully) faces a real mess economically.
Labour always - but ALWAYS - make a hash of the economy, only this time it is massively screwed up.
Get ready for a fast election next Spring when this bozo figures he might just get away with it.
