Brian Noble

Friday July 4,2008

By Martin Richards

Wigan coach Brian Noble is looking for home comforts and the extra buzz of facing defending champions Leeds to launch their bid for a Super League top-three finish.

Six of the Warriors’ remaining nine games are at the JJB Stadium starting with tonight’s visit of the Rhinos, who they have already beaten this season and narrowly lost to in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

Wigan trail third-placed Catalans Dragons by six points but have a game in hand as they chase a home draw in the play-offs. “We’ve a tough challenge, Leeds are very resolute,” said Noble.

“But we like playing this team.”
