NATURISTS SEEK NAKED RECRUITS

This summer British Nudism wants to recruit new members

Wednesday June 25,2008

By Richard Brennan for express.co.uk

HAVE the early signs of summer tempted you to ditch your clothes for the day and feel totally free?

Do you fancy stripping off completely on the beach? Or water-sliding in the nude?

If you've kept your clothes on until now you can try out naturism this summer at a string of special nudist events across the country.

British Naturism, the UK's biggest nudist organisation, has set up five naturist "open days" on British beaches to encourage newcomers to the nudist scene.

Participants can eat light snacks and play games while naked on beaches in Dorset, Gywnedd, Norfolk, East Sussex and Hampshire during July and August.

There's also a weekend away in the South West including a clothes-optional day at Abbey House Gardens and a naked waterpark event at Splashdown in Poole.

British Naturism chairman Richard Daniels said: "There is no greater place than a beach to discover that naturism is a comfortable, healthy, relaxing, enjoyable and perfectly normal thing to do."

"We hope that plenty of people will come and enjoy themselves and find out more about the thriving naturist scene in the UK."

NATURISTS SEEK RECRUITS!

26.06.08, 9:23am

As a naturist of many yrs, it still grieves me that some people think it quirky to be clothesfree - to me it is normal... wearing clothes when not needed is quirky! With my wife we have walked naturally clothesfree in many places here and abroad and live clothesfree at home much of the time. The recent naked bike rides in London and other cities in uk and abroad show that most people are not upset, alarmed or distressed by other peoples nakedness so I hope that more of us will throw off those rags of shame!

VOYEURISM OR HEALTHY?.

25.06.08, 7:02pm

Many years ago , before marraige, I took a girlfriend along to nudist camp. Initially it was for kicks and a laugh. Shallow intentions I agree. At first it was "phew!!!". Try to look anywhere but the obvious. Straight in the eye and be masculine cool etc. Gradually bodies became less sexual and simply functional, the differences necessary. so for a while one may become actually aloof to attractiveness. HA!! Self kidology. Not too long after that phase the normal hormone flood does it's datardly but great work and viagra would'nt get a look in. Yet in many ways the whole business of naturism does do a good job psychologcally. one is definately more grown up, for the sake of a better phrase. I would'nt have missed the experience.
