HADDEN HAPPY WITH SCOTS SQUAD

Scotland have named an unchanged squad for their second Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires next Saturday.

Coach Frank Hadden decided to keep faith the same 30-man unit that lost 21-15 in the opening match at Rosario last weekend despite having concerns over wing Simon Danielli (knee), fly-half Dan Parks (ankle) and lock Scott MacLeod (thigh), who were unable to participate in Monday's recovery session in the gymnasium.

Hadden did have the option to call up players from the A squad in North America for the Barclays Churchill Cup but opted to stay with his current pool.

Scotland led for most of the second half in the first Test but were beaten late on by a Federico Todeschini penalty and a try from Gonzalo Tiesi.

Flanker Allister Hogg believes the team's inexperience was evident as they failed to close out the game.

"In the first half we made some good line breaks and forward moves," said Hogg, who earned his 44th cap in the game.

"When we were 15-10 ahead we were expected to keep doing it and sealing it - that is something to focus thinking on this week, to have the mentality not to lose the advantage.

"It is a young squad. I am not using that as an excuse, but when we had the lead we needed to kick it to the corners and we didn't.

"I think it is a mentality issue to know what to do at the right time and doing it.

"We have to be a bit more aggressive. We just need to keep the pressure on and especially in defence and playing more rugby."
