FRENCH ACE TO QUIT HIBS FOR COVENTRY

LEAVINGG: Guillaume Beuzelin

Saturday May 17,2008

By SCOTT BURNS

GUILLAUME BEUZELIN is set to quit Hibs and join English championship side Coventry.

The French playmaker has been unable to agree a new deal at Easter Road and is set to sign a pre-contract to move to the Ricoh Arena.

The 29-year-old has played a big part in Hibs’ recent success but now wants to try his luck in England and Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman is set to give him his chance.

Beuzelin had been linked with a move to team up with former boss Tony Mowbray at West Bromwich but that move has failed to materialise.

The Frenchman has spent the last four seasons at Easter Road after Mowbray signed him for le Havre. Beuzelin now looks set to say his farewells against Motherwell on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Hibs are monitoring the situation with out of contract Ross County striker Andrew Barrowman.

SPL rivals Inverness have already opened pre-contract talks but Mixu Paatelainen could well beat them to the punch.
