PRINCESS Beatrice proved that no amount of stacking shelves at Selfridges can put her off a good old knees up.

The 19-year-old gap year royal, who is doing a month's work experience at the London department store, joined handsome male chums Rick Parfitt Jnr - son of Status Quo guitarist Rick Snr - and restaurateur Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe at the Masters social event at Hurtwood Polo Club in Surrey.

Among the eclectic crowd enjoying the scorching weather were Jodie Kidd, Ringo Starr's son Zac Starkey and Sophie Anderton.

And though Bea's boyfriend Dave Clarke, 25, was nowhere to be seen, onlookers said the fifth in line to the throne was having a ball.

"She seemed happy and chilled and stayed all day," says our girl serving "dangerously potent" cocktails at the event's VIP Amika nightclub tent.

Also at the event was an ex-wives’ club comprised of Pattie Boyd, former wife of George Harrison and later Eric Clapton, and Chris Tarrant's newly-divorced wife Ingrid.

The duo were spotted admiring TV presenter Esther Rantzen’s “youthful appearance” at the age of 67.

“The pair were gossiping about how young and glam Esther’s looking,” says a fellow guest. “They seemed desperate to be let in on her secret.”
