UNDER-FIRE whistler Mike McCurry has admitted he blew it at Ibrox along with blundering linesman Stuart Macaulay.

McCurry was the subject of a stunning blast from Dundee United boss Craig Levein after Rangers' 3-1 win and has revealed he didn't award the Arabs a stonewall penalty at 2-0 because he was out-of-position.


He has also revealed he was going to let Danny Swanson's 71st minute 'goal' stand until Macaulay convinced him the ball had definitely hit visiting midfielder David Robertson, standing in an offside position, before hitting the net.


It had actually deflected off home defender David Weir.


After watching both incidents on television McCurry admitted he got both decisions wrong.
