PM BACKS RE-CLASSIFYING CANNABIS

Gordon Brown has backed moves to re-classify cannabis

Tuesday April 1,2008

Gordon Brown has said he is determined to send a signal to young people that the use of cannabis is "unacceptable".

At his monthly Downing Street news conference, the Prime Minister indicated his strong support for re-classifying cannabis again as a Class B drug.

His comments came ahead of the expected review this month of the Advisory Council on Drugs of the decision to downgrade it to a Class C drug.

While Mr Brown said that he would consider the council's report, he made clear that he believed that change was necessary.

"I believe that if we are sending out a signal particularly to teenagers, and particularly those at the most vulnerable age, young teenagers, that we in any way find cannabis acceptable, given all that we now know about the changes in the way cannabis is being sold in this country, that is not the right thing to do," he said.

"My personal view has been pretty well known for some time. Given the changing nature of the stock of cannabis that is coming into the country and greater damage that that appears to be doing to people who use it, there is a stronger case for sending out a signal that cannabis is not only illegal but it is unacceptable."

IT IS BROWN THAT IS "UNACCEPTABLE"

01.04.08, 3:19pm

One day cannabis is a class 'B' drug.

Someone in authority was obviously enjoying a quiet smoke, so it was put in the 'C' class.

Now buffoon Brown wants it to revert to a class 'B' drug.

MAKE YOUR BLOODY MINDS UP YOU CRETINS.

Better still, admit you don't know what the hell you are doing - and, more importantly, what you are not doing to tackle the REAL SOCIAL PROBLEMS in the UK.

ANGRY SCENES IN THE HOUSE - -

- - As all those MP's who could obviously be on it - won't be able to claim it on their ACA's !

Personally, I'm surprised he hasn't left it as it is - suggested putting it into boxes of 20 and charging TAX on it. The tax could then be used to buy NEW NEEDLES for the other lot, and he could TAX THE NEEDLES as well - for a win-win situation!

You missed THAT one Comrade Brown, in your on-going efforts to ruin what's left of the country you are giving away.
