CHARITY CONDEMNS JUDGE'S SENTENCING
A children's charity has condemned the sentencing policy of a judge as "disturbing", after he had a second child sex case referred to the Court of Appeal.
In January, Judge Julian Hall, sitting at Oxford Crown Court, imposed a three-year supervision order on a 17-year-old boy who abused two young children, opting not to jail him because he did not believe him to be sufficiently dangerous.
The Solicitor General on Friday night confirmed the case had been referred to the Court of Appeal.
A spokeswoman for Vera Baird, Solicitor General for England and Wales, said that an interested party had asked for the sentence to be reviewed.
She said: "This case was referred to us and we have decided that it merits being referred on to the Court of Appeal. We are currently waiting for a hearing date."
Judge Hall caused outrage last June by jailing for just two years a man who raped a girl of 10.
After being referred to the Court of Appeal, the jail term imposed on window cleaner Keith Fenn, 24, was doubled after being deemed unduly lenient.
On Saturday Claude Knights, director of Kidscape, said of the latest case: "It's another disturbing judgment.
"We are quite worried about Judge Julian Hall. We now have a second child sex offence case involving a judge who has made some very disturbing decisions.
"It has been deemed to be out of line enough to be referred to the Court of Appeal and we would hope that justice will now be seen to be done."

The state of policing and the justice system in labours Britain, would encourage anybody to apply a do-it-yourself philosophy.
I ,certainly, would not expect the law in any form to deliver appropriate punishment.

GIVE HIM A BREAK

Maybe his suspenders and lacy knickers were chafing and making him bad tempered.
We all know that some male judges have a penchant for such under garments.
He would hardly want to come down heavy on................

Who the hell are these judges?
Stick the victims families up there and let them decide on the punishment.
If we are not allowed to take the law into our own hands, then why not be allowed to make judgements on punishment legally.
Personally, if my child were abused, it wouldnt get to court, Id sort it out myself.
And that is what will happen if these disgusting excuses for justice keep dishing out these non sentences.
THIS COUNTRY IS A DISGRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it really makes me wonder if this judge is a paedophile himself. he seems to be very sympathetic towards them. I wonder if he would feel the same if hs own family were abused - or there again - is he an abuser//////

SENTENCING POLICY

I suppose the Judge might have passed a more appropriate sentence upon any person found guilty of more Dangerous Crimes like Council Tax avoidance, Income Tax avoidance, Smuggling Alcohol or Cigarettes or had been caught speeding, or had injured a Burglar whilst trying to protect his property.
