MACCA MUST AWAIT HIS FATE
ANXIOUS WAIT: A judge will decide Macca's fate
By Julia White for express.co.uk
SIR Paul McCartney faces an anxious wait for his fate to be decided after he failed to reach a divorce agreement with estranged wife Heather Mills today.
Day six of the most expensive divorce in British legal history failed to produce a resolution.
And the former Beatle will now have to wait nervously for High Court Judge Mr Justice Bennett to decide how his reputed £825million fortune will be divided.
Nicholas Mosytn QC, who has been representing Sir Paul in his fight with the former model, agreed as he left court that the judge had reserved his ruling.
Mr Justice Bennett's judgment, which could take a few weeks, could be challenged in the Court of Appeal if either side is unhappy.

FIGHTING: Heather Mills leaves court today
|
Divorce experts have suggested that Sir Paul could lose up to £60million of his fortune to the woman he was married to for four years.
The 65-year-old, who has looked visibly drained by the events of the past week, was not in court today as he is believed to be rehearsing for Wednesday's Brit Awards.
Miss Mills, who is representing herself, spent the day replying to any points Mr Mosytn made on behalf of Sir Paul last week.
