OTHER SPORTHUMILIATION FOR STEVE'S SHOWERThursday November 22,2007 By Nigel ClarkeSteve McClaren’s reign as England boss ground to an end last night as his side were humbled by Croatia. They were beaten 3-2 at Wembley when a draw was all that was needed, giving away two goals in the first 14 minutes, hitting back to equalise then falling to a sucker punch from Mladen Petric.
England got off to the worst possible start when Scott Carson, brought in for Paul Robinson, made a schoolboy error.
"Don't blame McClaren, blame the nervous, short-sighted halfwits at the FA"

England then scored twice in nine minutes, first through a Frank Lampard penalty then when Beckham set up Peter Crouch. [>
But Croatia, always far and away the better side against a shambolic England, broke their hearts with a 77th-minute long-range winner from Petric.[>

HUMILIATION FOLLOWING ARROGANCE!
22.11.07, 12:30pm
England hasn't lost the right to go to Switzerland last night! Arrogance is the reason, how can you explain your highly payed players losing so many points against lesser known countries! It's time to pay your players less and to make them work more! You have a brilliant English Premier league with too many foreigners playing instead of British nationals, and at the end you can see the results!

seems like erikson was worth what he was paid now, obviously mcclaren has to go,but can you believe the defending for the second goal,5 players around the bloke with the ball, and the one player with the eventual goal scorer went over, and joined them, you have to blame the fa why was there such a rush to appoint ncclaren if they had waited they would have got there first choice big phil,we will probably get martin oniel now,but i would like to see harry redknap given a chance, for what he has done for lesser clubs
