STUART McCall has resigned as manager of Bradford City following a meeting with the club’s joint chairman Julian Rhodes.

McCall, installed as manager in May 2007, announced his intention to stand down after a 1-0 home defeat by Bury on Saturday left the  club, expected to be promotion candidates, in the bottom half of League Two.
