TIME FOR TOUGH POLICIES - TORY
Conservative former minister Ann Widdecombe has urged party leader David Cameron to give greater prominence to tough policies on crime, immigration and health to shore up the traditional Tory vote.
Speaking on the eve of the Tory leader's high-profile visit to Rwanda to visit Conservative MPs taking part in aid projects, Miss Widdecombe cast doubt on the value of Mr Cameron's "photocalls".
She told the Mail on Sunday: "We must not lose our nerve, and there is an underlying goodwill towards David Cameron. He has been very successful in getting support from people who previously would not have looked at us. But he must now pay a great deal of attention to shoring up our traditional vote.
"People want us to produce firm and clear policies on issues that worry them most - law and order, immigration and the health service.
"There is nothing he can do in a few days that should stop him going ahead with his visit to Rwanda - and some of his photocalls have been very effective in the past. Having said that, I'm not sure that many voters know where Rwanda is."
Right-wing MP David Davies told the paper: "David Cameron has produced excellent policies on the environment and equality, but we must also ensure that people know we are the party that still believes in strong policies on crime, immigration and the creeping takeover of Britain by Brussels."
THERE IS NO UNDERLYING GOODWILL, ANN

But there is a hell of a lot of anger that the Tory party has betrayed it's tradional supporters by continuing to endorse this pretender as its leader. Thereby allowing Gordon Brown to remain in power for another 4 God awful years .

Ann Widdecombe says there is an underlying goodwill towards David Cameron. She must me by the Party Faithful.
Its BRITAIN and BRITAINS PROBLEMS that need the visits - not swanning off to other Countries.
Yes Rwanda has problems and so have many other Countries but Britain now needs its representatives to do just that ! REPRESENT THE BRITISH ELECTORATE AND GET THINGS BACK ON A SANE AND SENSIBLE FOOTING AT HOME -- FIRST AND FOREMOST -- !

TOUGH POLICIES ON CRIME TORIES

instead od vising rwanda, the tories should visit people on ordinary estates in this country, and persuade them that they are the party who have the british peoples interests at heart, most people i know believe the tories would be tougher on immigration, crime, and most other things, the problem is cameron isnt saying it loud enough if not at all,he should be holding this lousy government to account,he should be reminding them of what labour has done to our once great country, like, rising crime, out of control immigration, terrorists alloed to stay in our country because of labours human rights laws, political correctness which is pathetic though ive never took any notice of labours mind games, and we want to celebrate our history and culture and if anyone who comes here and doesnt agree then he should tell them to sod off.

Highly publicised visit eh? -- going to visit the ministers getting aids, eh?? oops sorry - giving aid -- can we expect another influx of immigrants soon, then? The only prominence this lot will give to tough policies is more talk - thats when you know they are lying - their lips move!!
