Jonathan Ross is being let off the hook and allowed to return to his various duties in January. He will retain his £18million contract. Did anyone seriously imagine there would be any other outcome?

The BBC’s arrogance knows no bounds. As other broadcasting companies are buffeted by the chill winds of the economic downturn, the BBC carries on regardless, safe in the knowledge that its massive income is guaranteed by the licence-payers, who pay but ultimately have no say.

The public voted for John Sergeant to stay.

Why doesn’t the BBC find out via a phone poll if Jonathan Ross is equally popular?

In deceit, hypocricy, politically correct twaddle, greed, cheap trash on T.V. incompetance, probable and actual child abuse, insulting intelligence and sheer stupidity. Maybe Zimbabwe, outside Europe, leaves us standing, but in "civilised" countries we take some beating.
