The daughter of ex-Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis told us: “I’ve never been one of those singers who’s always wanted to act. I did some acting at drama school but I’m a singer first and foremost. I’ve got my fourth album out soon.

“But this film was great fun to do and if I got another opportunity, then who knows?

"I’d love to work with someone like Tim Burton but I don’t think that’s very likely,” added Sophie at the London launch of the film at Beach Blanket Babylon, where she was accompanied by musician husband Richard Jones (pictured with her).
