But Nat admits it may be in the Far East because he wants to be recognised as a musician in his own right, not because of his famous dad.

The 20-year-old, whose mother is Modfather Paul’s first wife, singer Dee C Lee, tells us: “I’ve got an album in the pipeline but I may release it in Japan first.

"I speak Japanese and most of my musical influences come from there so it seems the right thing. It’s also nice because people don’t know me as Paul Weller’s son so they can take my music at face value.”

Added the exotic-looking Nat, pointedly: “Not mentioning any names but I don’t want to be a part of that Brit-pack
rolling out of nightclubs drunk.

“I want to be judged on my music.”
