Should lame duck Brown quit now?

BELEAGUERED Gordon Brown suffered a stinging blow yesterday when a key Labour donor declared him an "incapable leader".

QUIT?

09.07.08, 8:36pm

Quit? If I had my way Brown, Blair and the rest of the rotton stinking lot would be banged up in the tower and tried for treason!

Sack the lot of them and lets start again! It's the only SANE thing to do.

ALL LAME DUCKS

08.07.08, 6:31pm

Who would take his place, I don't think there is a capable one among them. They will definitely be out at the next election no matter what.
Brown has done it again, I just cannot believe(or maybe i can that he has spent 500.000 on hiring a private jet from America,it flew from America to pick him up,onto Japan,it will fly him back to Britain and then fly back to America, how much fuel did this waste and what about the green house gasses that hes supposed to be worrying about. Why couldn't he use one of our planes? how much would that have saved the taxpayers, he must think we have money to burn.
Also, how can he chastise us for wasting eight pounds per week by throwing out food, when the eight course meal he was served at the meeting in Japan must have cost a small fortune, and a lot of it was thrown out at the end of the night.
I and I am sure most of the country want rid of Brown, and all his cronies.

DON'T LOSE THE PLOT!!

05.07.08, 12:46pm

He has lied publicly about EU referendum, he has failed to turn up at crucial votes, he has bribed those who sought to profit from his self imposed uncomfortable positions, he has put us all in the financial brown stuff (appropriate don't you think), he has the charisma of a gnat but this should not take the eyes off the whole labour machine. It is they who have allowed this to happen and the ridiculous puppets that continue to support and even reinforce the mistakes. I say leave him where he is, he is the best destruct tool available to the public who have been denied a say in any matter and rather than attack his ability praise him and he will continue to take every one of the labour cabinet down with him. Remember referendum, knee jerks like abolish gaming tax, 24 hour drinking, more casinos, Hips, stealth tax, death tax, and now the greater excuse - green tax. So I say don't get personal he is not alone.

WILL IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

05.07.08, 2:13am

Whoever gets in will not change things much. I have never voted and it has always seemed a struggle in life. None of the MP'S really listen to what people need. Things may change slightly but never enough. So what does it matter who will win. It still would not make a difference in my life. You only see MP's at voting times otherwise you could be dead and they would not care about you or the community.

GO NOW AND HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME

04.07.08, 3:29pm

As a labour voter i have to say that they have lost my support forever. I am continually discusted at the problems they are causing the nation. Our socirty has eroded possibly beyond repair. The justice system seems to favour the criminal. We allow to many imigrants into our country, who then try by means of liberty and human rights to change our way of life. I read the article by Leo Mckinstry today about how our society is degenerating because of a spineless government only intent on lining their own pockets.
Well done Mr Mckinstry we should have good hardliners with views like yours in our government (Why don't you stand for election). Tough times take tough measures. Has the nation forgotten about people power or are we just a nation of wimps who roll over and die. Come on britain stand up and be counted and rid us of these do gooders and law makers in Europe. Take our country back and send these parasites back to where they came from and bring in tough measures to rid our streets of miscreants who act like ferrel monsters. Our society deserves to feel safe and be able to walk the streets without fear. Lock these people up and throw away the keys.
GO NOW GORDON BROWN AND TAKE YOUR SCOTISH CABINET WITH YOU OVER THE BORDER AND DON'T COME BACK.

QUACK, QUACK - LAME DUCK BROWN IS A LIABILITY TO LABOUR!

01.07.08, 11:13pm

Brown should be forced to resign now before he loses the Glasgow East by-election for Labour on 24 July.

Let's face it, who would you prefer:

(a) the happy smiling personable Alex Salmond

or

(b) the miserable, glum, boring, treacherous, controkl freak Gormless Brown.

Vote now!

Give me Alex Salmond any time ....... I think Labour has already lost Glasgow East.

BROWN IS AN INTERNATIONALIST/GLOBALIST

01.07.08, 8:10pm

Why do people vote for politicians who are not interested in promoting the best interests of our nation? Our government makes us feel that we only exist to help other countries, while at the same time pretending we are in economic "competition" with the world. Brown is more blatant about this than Blair, and I prefer him for being slightly less dishonest. I wonder if his successor would be any improvement. Doubtful isn't it?

YES HE SHOULD

01.07.08, 4:28pm

Before he does any more damage. He hasn't got what it takes I'm afraid, he has no "X" factor, just "Tax" factor. Plus he does not listen to anybody, especially us, the voters. For the last year he has steamrollered his way through, what he thinks is right. So hand your notice in Gordon and do us all a favour.
