LAST WEEK, watching BBC1’s Question Time, I witnessed the plumptious Piers Morgan, jowls a-quiver, shouting: “Get in there.”

AID TO BURMA AND THE REST OF THEM

21.05.08, 6:16pm

What is the point of sending aid to any Dictatorship? Can somebody tell me just how much of our handouts actually arrivesat the point of devastation and is utilised by the needy?

I will not give money to help the poor people in these areas, as I know they will never get it. My money will end up in a Swiss bank account as a small donation to the huge, ever expanding pension fund for the Dictator.

Greed is BAD not good. These SOB's are bad and they are greedy. They want our aid to fund their life styles. Their peoples do not count, in fact they cannot count as they are denied a decent education. Think Burma, think Zimbabwe, think South Africa. Think the whole of Africa. The so-called leaders are all weened on corruption and sure as hell itself, they ain't gonna change it for the health of their own citizens. They are just collateral and are destined to be damaged.

WHY WE CAN'T SIMPLY THROW AID AT BURMA

18.05.08, 9:32am

Freddie is right. There is no point in sending aid to Burma because the people who need it will never get. We must resign ourselves to the fact that perhaps hundreds of thousands of people are going to die needlessly.

NOT YET AS BAD

16.05.08, 2:04pm

Britain is not yet as bad as Burma, but that could soon change if we don't boot out evil New Labour at the next opportunity.
