COMMIES
05.05.08, 2:11pm
it seems as though all the anti-communists on here are really into the idea of the government providing strict control of food pricing, as opposed to supporting a free market economy.
maybe 'reaperman' is right, and there is a marxist world takepover coming, after all, this forum seems to be riddled with reds who want the goernment to nanny them and tell businesses what to do.

INTERNATIONAL FOOD PRICES
02.05.08, 6:47pm
I agree no national government can control international food prices. But they can check to make sure supermarkets do not play on world prices to up their profits at the expense of the consumer.

And now all the branches of the Tesco have reduced their prices of vegetables and fruits!
What a change of heart when they are caught fooling the public?
The idiots who vote for thse corrupt politicians seem to have short memories and will claim the that Tesco's price reduction is all due to the government pressure!
Rip off Britain!!!

BUT THE LABOUR GOVT IS WELL ABLE TO LOWER TAXES TO EASE THE BURDEN OF HIGHER FOOD PRICES IF IT SO CHOOSES

The problem of the labour party is its choices.
They constantly make bad ones.

THE GREAT FOOD RIP OFF
30.04.08, 9:12am
We will have to put ip with this rip off mentality for some time to come unless we can find a way to get rid of labour and its union cronies. They already have many of their infiltrators in place in every walk of life so that they can cotrol our lives by strike action and ignoring the law, something that they are very good at especially regarding such things as the age of sexual consent and the selling of cannabis and other drugs.
There are some areas where local politics are in the hands of the wrong people and that puts us all in trouble. Food prices are in the hands of the unions who make exorbitant wage claims and demands on the number of employees which just puts up the price more but if it gets to high for them they just demand more cash, it is easy to see why the cost of living is very high and pro labour unions don't want us to know about it.

LABOUR FIASCO
29.04.08, 1:51pm
This government is useless, corrupt and should be tried for fraud. They have conned the British Public with their lies and deceit. Unfortunately the opposition isn't so clever either but anything is better than this lot.

ON WHOSE BEHALF ARE THE OFT ACTING FOR?
29.04.08, 11:13am
Either Gordon Brown and Alsitair Darling are correct when they tell us that the true rate of inflation is 3% or the supermarkets are right in that their costs are rising way beyond this figure. In view of the well publicised increases in worldwide basic foodstuffs, the fall of the pound in recent months against both the Euro and the dollar and the punitive costs including tax on fuel, (food has to be delivered to the store by lorries), maybe it is the supermarkets who have got it right. If so, the decision by the OFT to launch such high profile raids may simply be an effort to spare their masters' blushes so as to maintain the fiction of that 3% inflation figure.

You are absolutely right.
British workers have been denied their democratic right to have their say on the EU Con-Treaty by the evil traitor Mc Brown.
Never let them forget it.
Keep reminding them at every opportunity that we must get out of the unconstitutional EU Super State before the British lose their sovereignty and right to vote.
Remind them to vote for any party that opposes the EU.
p.s. That does not include the "big 3".

COMMON PURPOSE THE REAL DEFINITION
28.04.08, 8:59pm
A criminal organisation acting under a 'charity' whose accounts have never been published. It recruits leaders to abuse their position in all quangos, civil service, BBC, legal profession, church, local councils, schools, governement and RDA's, to siphon off millions of taxpayers money (all unaccounted and unexplained) in corrupt deals, embezzlement and fraud.
It undermines effective and efficient government departments with non jobs, political correctness and useless and wasteful management initiatives.
The EU requires and seeks out potential leaders for the new Soviet EUnion. Enter Common Purpose.
The Lisbon Treaty has just been rushed through without a referendum. Its becoming a reality. Wake up !
