MARTIN THE THIEF
05.04.08, 1:09pm
That fat lazy thieving piggy twat, Martin, should be horsewhipped from his speakers chair and thrown in jail, with the rest of the robbing scum.
There should be a police enquiry and back date it 5 years, and prosecute every shady act that has been committed. Like claiming mortgage payments on a house that is owned outright. How do they sleep at night? Obviously no shame.

WELL, TO QUOTE ED BALLS "SO WHAT"
04.04.08, 4:52pm
I feel utterly disgusted and nothing but contempt for this "breed" of modern day politician that purport to represent us while all the time they are taking us for fools.
We need to punish these "clever" people by forcing them to repay all the expediditure claims that they have wrongfully made, and then creating a powerful independant body to enforce a rigourous behavioral code for the future politicians to adhere to.

OTHER REVALATIONS REQUIRED
04.04.08, 3:52pm
Other revalations regarding our inane politicains from all parties are required in addition to the "fiddling" of expenses or the amounts they have claimed.
The other points that need to be publicised and revealled alongside the cash & money "claims" is how many days or how much time they were actually in Parliament or at their constituancies.................these revallations whilst quite strong for Ministers and Senior politicains would be completly embarassing and shocking as far as many others are (were) concerned.
There is no doubt at all that there needs to be a complete change of the types of and the way politicains are allowed or permitted to "work" (the wrong word thats why it is in italics") - as far as ALL parties are concerned.

WE WANT ALL THE DETAILS PLEASE!!
04.04.08, 12:29pm
There should be no cherry picking regarding the details of MPs expenses, we want all the details! Mps are in a privileged position with great rewards for doing the job, there should be no privacy, just plain transparency.

EXPENSES ?
04.04.08, 9:56am
Reading this article it seems to me they are only releasing some expense claims. It's the expense claims they aren't releasing that we need to see as obviously there is something not quite right in those expenses.

EXPENSES CLAIMS
04.04.08, 8:12am
More than high time. Having realised belatedly that 'kicking for the long grass' wasn't going to work, the details are to be released. Grudgingly, however, only to the applicants under the freedom of information act. Isn't it awfully sad? The trouble for the 'party minded' is that the net catches all fish. So where does this leave 'us' [as opposed to 'them']? Nowhere! That's where. If we didn't realise what a load of fools we had governintg the country, and in opposition too, then we are a little wiser. But what can we do about it. Nothing. De Nada. Zilch! We have no way of getting rid of them, and no-one fit to replace them with, nor the means of choosing for ourselves those we would prefer to have running things, 'thanks' to the political party system. I'm both glad I'm old, yet sorry for my grandchldren and their generation who will have to sort out the mess we have bequeathed them .[And I haven't got started on the nuclear issue!!!]

....I understand what you are saying but, we cannot risk voting for a minority party when we desparately need to get shot of this god awful bunch of NuLab crooks.
By now, the opposition must surely be noticing the noose tightening around their greedy brass necks and therefore may tend to be a little more careful in their future conduct.
Of course, the very best option would be a constitutional change bought about, that would only allow a maximum of 2 years in power for the elected party.
Also, to ban postal voting completely, to eradicate the fraud that this enables for unscrupulous vote rigging
(as occurred previously)
As hard pressed tax payers, we are all hungry for change and a new style of open and honest politics.
Our country has been all but ruined by a decade of oppression bought about by these very arrogant and self serving dishounourable charlatans.
Roll on May for the first round of voter back lash.

The only option now is to back a new party and stop the big three wallowing in the trough, the Imperial Party is the one to back, they care about Great Britain.

04.04.08, 7:46am
He certainly has the "gift of the gab", just like DICTATOR BROWN.
He definitely does NOT speak for me.
If he were to open his big mouth anywhere near me I would fill it with my right boot.
Hypocritical waster he is.

MPS EXPENSES
04.04.08, 7:42am
Once more these so called MPs will have found some way of justifying their expenses at the cost of the taxpayer. They are all given to thievery, and painted with the same brush.Sooner we get shot of the lot the better, but that begs the question (Which Party can we Trust)
