Probably very few Muslims would be offended by the tale.
Undoubtedly the people making this decision are PC morons.
However, many folk in the West (post 9/11,7/7,Madrid,van Gogh,demonstrations over Danish cartoons etc etc) feel the intimidation of the Muslim minority uninvitedly in their midst.
This is part of the scheme to overcome the infidel: immigrate, outbreed, ,intimidate.
They are winning.
If you are OK with this then do nothing; if you want to fight to get your counrty back then; be active.
Become an activist for your family, your community, your traditions.
Write to the power-that-be, Mps, Police, Church anyone and everyone, and write real letters not emails thatcan be erased with a button.

LIVING AMONGST FRIENDS (OF OTHER FAITHS)

I work for the tourist industry and I get to meet a whole lot of people from everywhere in the world. When I ask them about how their stay has been they usually point out a little boulevard.
This boulevard is adjacent to the Tourist Board Main Office and opposite our local Anglican Cathedral. Theres a little park mums go with their kids to. Now, the extraordinary thing about this is that, any given sunny afternoon you'll find Christian, Muslims and Jewish kids playing together and their mums chatting away without mentioning any pork related b%*&^cks.

Mind you Nativity plays are still going strong and its a big part of our communities, with other non christian faiths not complaining one iota about the cow being misrepresented, a pig being used as a tempting prop or any such nonsence. Wake up Britain and smell the rot eminating from the PC Brigade offices.

OOMPH! WHERE'S MY BACON SARNIE?

The author of this must have a wry sense of humour. It's absolutely true about the cowboy builders. In my experience they take no pride at all in their work - they sit in their vans noshing on bacon sarnies and chip butties wasting time... basically stealing from their clients.

A friend recently got a plumber round to check his boiler. Let's call him Alf. Alf started the job by asking for a cup of tea. "And two sugars please, darling." Poor Alf was so fat that he had to climb up the stairs sideways like a lame crab. Then he huffed and puffed - just like one of the pigs! - bending to look in the boiler... then dropped the screwdriver in it and couldn't get it back out. What a farce!

Compare that with the lithe Polish lad I around to fix my boiler. What a star. Diagnosed the problem straight away, fixed it, tidied up and left. And couldn't be more polite.

Thank heavens (and the EU!) for all our lithe and eager Great East European Workforce!

Building on Affenkid's point, I'd like to know what Muslim bodies the Government has consulted in making this decision. I've bought pork from a shop run by Muslims, for Pete's sake!

I note that no gov't agency seems to have had any concerns about pigs offending Jews. Another sign of the creeping Islamicisation of our society?

Btw...who is the minority group in question? The PC Brigade? The Government?

Ref Enoch Powell (quote Wikipeadia) 'The central political issue addressed by the speech was not immigration as such, however. It was instead the introduction by the Labour Government of anti-discrimination legislation which would prohibit discrimination on the grounds of race in certain areas of British life, particularly housing, as many local authorities would not give houses to immigrant families until they had lived in the country for a certain number of years. This meant that almost all Commonwealth immigrants living in England before 1970 were owner occupied or private tenants. Powell found this legislation offensive and immoral.'
This gave rise to the Rivers of Blood speech. So Labour is to blame for eveything it seems, and all this pc crap was started 40-50 years ago.

I remember a trip to Camden Town, wife was shopping away and I popped into a pub (as you do) I asked the land lord where the natives had gone as all i could see was the UN outside. He laughed but the big burly guy sitting next to me turned round, took out his wallet showed me his BNP membership card and said' i know what you mean mate, 'ave a pint on me'!! I sh@ my pants.... The problem is not the immigrants...its what the government does (or doesn't do) to resolve the problem

AffenKid - I suspect you live in Gibraltar? If so, you are right, it is an example to the rest of the world regarding different faiths living harmoniously side by side. However, this is not so in the UK where a minority group is, apparently, trying to undermine the native way of life. Can you imagine such a thing being possible in Saudi Arabia for instance? No way! To have one's heritage undermined is totally insupportable and I keep remembering Enoch Powell's warnings about rivers of blood....

Long live The Three Little Pigs! Don't let anyone blow your house down!

Perhaps they should have been depicted wearing burka's and veils, it's not the law of Islam to wear the clothes and nobody would be able to see what kind of snorting pig was under the clothing. Make your own jokes.....

and read Roger's comment, "light hearted article" have I missed something? Was it also light hearted when the Muslim sales assistant for Marks and Spencer refused to handle a copy of the Bible? Was it light hearted or just plain ironic that she was actually working for a Jewish founded company at the time ? And the reason Roger that people do not seem to be "sticking to the point" is it is an emotive subject,the erosion of your country and heritage.

PORK....NO PROBS

Im sure everybody here knows a muslim or two...why don't you ask them what they think of this fiasco?? Instead of, listening to what a Government PC Agency has to say about the subject.

Whilst on the subject, I work with several Morrocans (Muslims) and I've ate pork whilst being in the same room as them. They have NEVER as much as commented on my eating pork, nor have they cried Jihad on me whilst enjoying my pork chops. In my little city (80% Christian) we live side by side Muslims, Hindus, Jews and other faiths. Never in our history has any of these other faiths complained of any religious practice by us christians (whatever denomination) nor have they enforced their religious practices on our society as a whole.

I find the whole religious PC debacle in the motherland ammusing and quite alarming...sad really.

I would like to see a daily article in the "Express" where Politically Correct morons are named and shamed, preferrably with a photograph.
These people are building a Stalinist state, where anyone who disagrees with the "party line" will be harrassed, lose their job or be prosecuted.
This needs a full-blooded campaign or it will become unstoppable.

Never mind learning our language before entering this country; how about we test all foreigners to see if they have a sense of humour first.

That should slow down the rate of new arrivals.

And I'd wager a fair few 'liberals' would fail this test too...
