SHE'S GONNA DO WHAT?

01.01.08, 11:40pm

Well, I hope she will have a bit more diplomacy in Red China. I suppose that as the majority of Chinese are atheists, she won't be able to upset religious folk over there but it's not exactly a democracy.

Why didn't she chose a safer country like Iraq, North Korea, Burma, Iran, or Tunbridge Wells?

I hope she has good travel insurance!

PEST

01.01.08, 11:37pm

I cannot believe this stupid stupid woman. Did she not learn her lesson last time she went out to do her "do-good" work and all the trouble she caused because she is such a dimwit living in a dream world. I hope that if she gets into trouble in China they leave her to stew in her stupidity and don't go rushing to her aid. You would have thought this idiot would have learned her lesson. She deserves everything she has coming to her. She would win the vote of "most annoying person of 2007". Everytime I see that stupid silly smug face I feel like slapping it - what a stupid person this is.

TEDDY ROW TEACHER MAY HEAD TO CHINA

01.01.08, 11:14pm

Every society has its culture and non is superior than the other. The world will be a peaceful place if we recognise this and respect each other's culture.
Let Gillian learn more about China before she ventures there. All this sensationalism will not help anybody's cause.

TEDDY ROW TEACHER....

For goodness sake, why not choose a country with a similar culture to our own. What's wrong with Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United States? Ok, I know there are other cultures mixed in with Christianity there as in UK, but at least the governments in these countries would be much more reasonable and understanding to small errors of judgement than the East.
