WOULD YOU ADAM AND EVE IT?

I've given up trying to remind the wife about the story of Adam and Eve and the excellent interpretations given it by Paul (the man who put the good strong punitive flesh on the rather frail bones of Gospel Christianity) and others.

I used to tell her that it was all Eve's fault, that having periods and suffering in childbirth was a punishment, that women were morally weaker as a result, and that she should shaddapa her face. I also told her that it was an old Christian tradition to keep the wife indoors and give a good beating to keep her in line. I also told her that Christianity had it right when they didn't allow women to own property, enter into a contract, get an education, and so on. But she wouldn't have any of it.

She told me this was women-hating religious stuff, and that she would leave if I tried to adopt the Christian approach.

How unfair is that?

I'm now looking into pagan religions to see if she'll have any of that.

And Manson and his like never lead any volume of people except sick in the head ones.
However a recent poll showed 30% of Muslims had sympathy with the 7/7 bombers and over 70% with the 9/11 bombers. Now if you think that those sympathies were not fermented by their religious teachings the you are more of an appeaser than I 1st estimated.
