The headline says it all but is the government listening? The brewers are rubbing their hands together due to rising profits, the government are rubbing their hands together with the increase in duty paid yet it is the rest of the country that is counting the cost.
Bring back realisitc licencing hours and make it an offence to be drunk in a public place. Those that flout that law should be penalised harshly as a deterrent to others, it might not stop yob culture but it would go a long way to curbing it.

We all ask "why 24 hour drinking was ever approved in the first place".

Makes you just wonder who stood to gain from that decision doesnt it ?
