Kind of ironic, really.
We owe so much to Scots for the things they have done to make the modern world a better place, but then you look at the UK today and a handful of Scottish politicians have done more to wreck the country in the last 10 years than anyone would have thought possible.
And to cap it all, we have a devolved Scottish parliament over which the rest of the Uk has no power, while England is controlled by a power-mad Scot whose consituency isn't even in this country.
So, thank you very much Scotland for giving us 10 years of uncontrolled migration, a chancellor who has robbed pension funds blind, and an illegal war in Iraq (there's plenty more but you get the picture). I got the impression some time ago that lots of Scots don't like the English, but I hadn't realised it was this bad.

ENLIGHTEN THE WORLD

I am pleased to say that it comes as no surprise that there were as many Scottish contributors to the development of the modern world. One only has to take account of the current plethora of Scots who dominate the political and business scene throughout the world, not just in the UK, to realise that they will always shine through.
