Could be sooner than we think

All the vote getting promises,free computers etc
the economy is in a state, not the right time to start spending on non-necessities when people are losing ther jobs,that means less money going into the coffers,more being paid out for the unemployed, so how is the country going to afford these 'luxuries' when every time we ask for something the cry is always there is no money available.
Cannot have both ways or we will end up well and truly bankrupt but at the same time we are still having to support the world and his wife, but why? The priorities are in somewhat of a muddle , as usual
