Anyone with an iota of intelligence, a smattering of common sense or a grain of savvy will not touch a first time buyers mortgage in the UK for a very long time to come. This is despite the bleatings of the I do very nicely brigade ( the RCIS and the Money Lending Usuers) who make an excellent living out of burdening good folk with a millstone around the kneck for the better part of a lifetime(s) labours.
Darling and Co know that Nulabours piece of meat and two veg are going to be severely minced if they do not do something beneficial for the whole nation and not just the selected few. Reducing stamp duty is a pitiful response to what is a major crisis in the UK ecconomy!
