In a few words:

RECYCLING PROPERLY

Published: Monday August 18,2008 by SOMERTON

Quite honestly, the only people to complain about fortnightly collections are those who don't recycle properly.
My non-recyclable rubbish has dropped by 90%.
There is not much stuff these days that can't be recycled. You can help save space by CRUSHING cans and plastic bottles for instance. Yoghurt pots can be crushed before being put out. Pet food tins and soft drink/lager cans also can be crushed. Breakfast cereal boxes can be squashed flat.
There are lots of ways in which the SPACE taken up by rubbish can be easily reduced.
Putting smaller containers INSIDE larger containers in a kind of "Russian Doll" arrangement can reduce the space no end.

It just needs a bit of thought thats all.
