of course not. all these suggestions are ridiculous, because the argument that you are making is ridiculous.

this is basically what you want, nimue. you want to restrict the freedoms of a certain group of people. end of story. and you will come up with any excuse, no matter how wierd, to justify your desire to persecute a particular group of people and restrict thier freedoms.

well, this country was built on freedom. my relatives to did'nt fight in two world wars for a dress code. they fought to preserve the tradition of freedom in this country. the fact that you and a few others cannot seem to understand or uphold that tradition, and what it means, is the greatest danger facing this country.


I am not making excuses for anything but merely stating facts. I am fighting to maintain the freedom of this country because to have any form of Sharia law in this here in the UK by any group will be the first erosion of that freedom. Generations of my family have fought in world wars for this country and it's people and some even died, well I don't believe for one minute that they would be happy with what is happening here today regarding Islam. In fact my late father who was in the Coldstream Guards actually said as much to me. So please get off your high horse as I have as much as aright to have my say as you do.


I do not wish to persecute any group of people but I do wish to see this country get back on track and I don't see why we have to put up with people man or woman walking around with their faces covered, the salwar kameez was good enough for decades so why the need for the niqab (veil) now?

If the present trend regarding Islam continues then eventually there will be trouble in this country something which I would rather see avoided. This can only happen with integration and not with a them and us. Muslims will not integrate though will they thanks to the clerics and Imams who see fit to preach their distorted version of the Koran. Most of the muslim/west divide has risen from the mosques, this is why I believe that they should be of a limited number. There is no need in certain areas to have one on nearly every corner. End of story.
