AT LAST SOME BACKBONE !

Finally, at last, in Judge Cottle we have someone with the backbone to step up and actually DO something. Let's hope his learned colleagues follow suit. This approach could be crucial in helping to turn society around.
But where will we house the prisoners?
Simple.... up and down the country there are disused Army barracks and RAF camps..... use these. Get them reopened. Get the Army to guard them, after all, they have nothing better to do in peace time, other than handing out beastings to their own comrades.
It's these yobs that should be getting the beastings, maybe then they will think twice before they act.
And if, while the yobs are locked up, guarded by the army, our soldiers can instill some discipline and pride, sending them back out as better citizens then so much the better.
So I hope the judges start using custodial sentencing to the limit the law allows and that the prison places will be found in order to meet the demand...... We have to..... While there is still time before these yobs own the streets completely.
