This comment just demonstrates how distant these idiot politicians are from responsibility and reality.

A Stupid analogy It was the captains responsibility for the position and speed of the ship. As the top man it was also his responsibility to have ensured his look outs had adequate equipment, such as binoculars in order that they were able to do their job. The captain knew he was in an area where Icebergs were present.

I don't suppose the Iceberg had any idea that it was about to collide with the Titanic...anymore than Gordon Brown apparently, had any idea that he was leading the UK towards financial and social meltdown!
