The Education system has....

....been in decline since the 196o's. The ban on Capital Punishment was made permanent, so no deterrant for bad behaviour.Students staged a sit in and demanded more say in how their Colleges were run, Censorship Laws were abolished, Abortion and Sex Laws were made more liberal, the 11-Plus exam came to an end, Children were encouraged to think for themselves, with no experience to compare what they were learning, learning together with respect for the teacher was considered old fashioned even though now, the Education that our Grandparents had in the 1940 - 1950's were far superior to what the children have now.. In 1971 I went to parents evening at my sons school, his spelling was dreadful and he only wrote a couple of lines of an essay. I was told that spelling wasn't corrected, as that would come in time! it was the content and not the ammount he had written that was important!! and that they didn't do times tables any more, they used rods. That is why Labour destroyed the finest Education System in the World years ago.
