There is nothing wrong with bowler hats, tweeds, etc nor even the salwar kameez, however I find the wearing of the niqab (face veil ) offensive to British society and especially myself. This item of attire should be banned as it never used to be worn by muslims of Pakistani birth or decent in this country before 9/11, 7/7 and so I honestly believe that it is now a form of political attire. Whether a woman is forced to wear it or worn by choice it has no place here in a 21st century UK. We have a stupid government who has no backbone in banning the niqab knowing that any would be terrorist, bank robber, etc could easily hide under one of these things.

As for your comment about this thread being gone tomorrow just shows that you cannot bear to read the truth regarding the Islamic faith and would prefer that the British people act like sheep and not have a mind of their own. Keeping it out of the news will not make the whole Islamic episode go away, won't be long before something else crops up.
