Darwins..far from penniless??

I read that the Darwins have been awarded
Legal Aid, can this be true?? with all the assets
they acquired by the fraud they've been convicted for its ludicrous that the tax-payers have to fund their defence??

There has to be someway that the assets can be sold and at least part of it should be allocated for the lawyers..Legal Aid is meant to service people who are destitute isnt it??
