In a few words: I regret voting for the Common Market in 1974. I was misled as to its ultimate intentions and now I am older and wiser I am bitterly opposed to the European Super State.

The first step to dumbing down was the introduction of CSE's. These were for kids who could not get GCE's.

Then they merged GCE's with CSE's to make the new GCSE. But the big difference was there was no p**** or fail. All the little darlings passed because it would have bee soooooo unfair to tell them they had failed.

That was progress under a previous Labour government.

This one is no better.
