The High price of Petrol

Published: Tuesday July 15,2008 by Tiff

For every gallon of petrol we buy, Brown gets another £4 to piss against the wall with his tax and spend and spend more, policies of his New Labour.

Why can't he just reduce the duty on it to lower it to continental prices? That would take the cost to us poor public down below a quid a litre again and get him lots of Brownie points.

The fact is, he cannot afford to do it. The Prudent ex-Chancellor has wasted so much and borrowed so much that he does not have the any money in the coffers to pay back his loans. He has made the UK technically bankrupt with his ridiculous initiatives whereby he spends a billion to save a million.
This man and his predecessor, will go down in history as the Prime Ministers that broke the Bank of England. Hows that for a legacy?? I wish them dead.
