Yes we need to get policemen out of the office and onto the streets.

NuLabour under Blair/Brown have introduced lots of unneeded costly beaurocracy and red tape across the board. In the NHS, Police, Education etc This means Doctors and nurses, policeman and head teachers are spending far to much time filling in forms and fulfilling artificial targets instead of getting on with their real jobs. Just to give Gordon Brown endless statistics to quote at PMQs. And a few phony headlines.

Every time Labour get into power they promise to cut red tape but every time they just increase it.
