What's in it for us?

Why does not grey Brown put the EU facts and the figures to public scrutiny?
Surely we, the electorate and citizens of the UK are capable of deciding what is best for us. After all, the same public voted New Labour into power in 1997 and surely they have not become mentally deficient under the Blair/Brown regimes?
The 'mother of all Parliaments' needs a bloody good shake up right now for the country to take itself back into public hands where the citizens take precedence over the arrogance of the politician. Let's rid ourselves of the EU and New Labour.
