THE COST IS TOO HIGH FOR SOME

A good well-balanced salad costs about £7 to feed a family of four. PER DAY
Sausage, egg & chips (home made) costs about £1.30 to feed a family of four.PER DAY.

Some families, who's weekly expenditure is a very high percentage of their weekly income simply cannot afford to pay the prices asked for healthy food. It's because everything ELSE costs so much. Some working families struggle by because everyday costs are so high.

This is hardly the parents' fault and it's very wrong to describe it as child abuse when it's sausage, egg & chips or nothing!
Incidentally, Mc.Donalds car parks at weekends are always full of gas guzzling Mercedes and BMW off roaders belonging to families who have the money to buy better.

As always, a social conscience is the reserve of them as can afford it.
