MPs AN Extravagance
Published: Wednesday June 18,2008 by splodge
Most MPs are little more than an extravagance used by the government as lobby fodder. They cling like limpets to privilege and expenses and have turned parliament into a freeloading gravy train. In this day of instant communication there is really little use for them as the people should now be allowed to make decisions on matters that will effect them. MPs pay rises should be kept within government guidelines, their expenses should be open to public scrutiny and their numbers culled by 50%.
