It's up to the Irish

In the whole European Union only Ireland has given its people the right to vote on this treaty that will affect us all. The labour government promised us a vote in its election manifesto then promptly broke its word once elected. This is no great surprise as the past eleven years are littered with labour's broken promises. Ireland is our last hope, let's hope they they give all the Eurocrats a bloody nose and vote a resounding No for the rest of us.
