Are our MP's too greedy?

It is somewhat ironic that MP's are demanding a 35% pay rise and yet at the same time remove the 10% tax band.

This directly affects the lower paid and pensioners........taking even more tax from those who can't afford it and giving it to those who don't need it.

Seems a strange way to reduce poverty in this country.
