Green Taxes

It is apparent that all this talk directed at us about "going green" is wearing a bit thin, why do the politicians not come clean and admit, it is all about raising money, they have no interest in all the schemes to force us to recycle etc etc, if we were able to conform to all the rules and regulations, they would not be happy and would find another way to screw us down.
A very intersting question, has anyone ever seen a tonne of carbon and why hasnt anyone found a good use for it, Should we believe what the green lobby, politicians and tree huggers tell us, we are producing millions of tonnes of the stuff, lets look for a way of recycling this and make masses of money,
