Sorry but we're too poor to pay for anything, and need to be joined to England, or we'll all DIE of abject poverty! And we'll be invaded too!
That's what we've been told for centuries. Don't tell me you heard the same?
Yes, we need to vote Labour repeatedly, or we'll be be finished. Like the Norwegians were when they got independence. Or the Icelanders. Or the Irish. I mean, they just died out altogether, didn't they?
