Scottish Inventors

Kind of ironic, really.
We owe so much to Scots for the things they have done to make the modern world a better place, but then you look at the UK today and a handful of Scottish politicians have done more to wreck the country in the last 10 years than anyone would have thought possible.
And to cap it all, we have a devolved Scottish parliament over which the rest of the Uk has no power, while England is controlled by a power-mad Scot whose consituency isn't even in this country.
So, thank you very much Scotland for giving us 10 years of uncontrolled migration, a chancellor who has robbed pension funds blind, and an illegal war in Iraq (there's plenty more but you get the picture). I got the impression some time ago that lots of Scots don't like the English, but I hadn't realised it was this bad.
