talking of meter reading & prices

Published: Tuesday April 3,2007 by alanG

I got home, one day last week to bill on my mat from electricity company stating i was in debt for £111-11p so phoned up my supplier inquired?? how can I be in debit for such amount;I'm on electronic key I use only a fiver a week which is put on the key every week, pay as you use scheme; oh came the reply your electric meter isn't calibrated to take into account the increases in cost's of electricity your meter need's changing, but we will waive & scrap the £111-11p debit bill, but no ones come to change my key meter over for a model up dated one as yet; is that suspect or what or a early april fools trick, Isn't it just maddening when you get things like that happening when your thinking everything going just OK wish they would get their act together& manage things correctly
